JWOC 2007 middle (02/07/2020)

Pretty ok, a few small mistakes but had a reasonable speed in the forest. A few new high barbed wire fences in the last part of the course cost me some crucial seconds. But managed to sneak away with 2nd on the day :)

#1/2: Big hesitaion to the first, wasn't ready for such a short first control, plus a small tape didn't help. Also another hesitation to the second. Total 15sec.
#3/4: FInally got moving well, flat running to #3 helped open up the legs and calm my head a bit.
#5: Left the control a little unsure, and that carried into the circle, figured out the mistake almost instantly. 25sec.
#5-9: Best part of the run for me by far! Won all these splits.
#10: Small mistake, didn't see the height. 5sec.
#11: Could've given a little more up the hill, and attacked the downhill harder.
#12-22: Some small mistakes through this last section, plus could've gone harder up the hill at #16. But overall was a pretty ok final part. 20sec.

Overall: 65sec. Happy enough with this for an unprepaired middle :)
